Merchant¶
Short definition: A business entity in MMS that owns or operates payment terminals and is managed under a company hierarchy.
Full meaning¶
A merchant record holds profile, activation status, operational metrics (devices, users, AI features), and reporting views. Merchants are assigned devices via Device Manager and classified using industry-category. Merchants sit under company scope for access and configuration.
