Why¶
Centralizes global behavior, integrations, security/usability tradeoffs (timeouts), and merchant classification in one place. See MMS Features v2.5 §6.
What¶
6.1 Settings (p.50) — Completed¶
- MMS Configuration: core system settings controlling overall behavior and operational rules.
- Integration Setup: configure integrations with external systems and services.
- Global Setup: define global parameters.
- File Cleanup Settings: file retention and automatic cleanup policies for backup and log files.
6.2 Industry Categories (p.53) — Completed¶
- Manage a centralized list of Industry Types (e.g. Retail, Hospitality, Restaurant, Hotel).
- Manage a centralized list of Industry Categories (e.g. Cocktail Bar, Wine Bar, Fashion, Hardware).
- Used to classify merchants for organization, configuration, reporting, and industry-specific behavior.
6.3 Timeouts (p.52) — Completed¶
- Global session idle policy for automatic logout after inactivity.
- Default idle timeout duration for all users and sessions.
- Warning countdown before session expiration; session activity timeline (active → warning → logout states).
- Time Extension White List: specific modules or pages that require a longer session (e.g. Audit Log).
- Extended timeout values configurable for selected routes or system functions.
- Centralized editing and maintenance of timeout configurations.
