Why

Persons, companies, and merchants define the organizational scope used for access control, security templates, and terminal operations. Charities and Processors provide global data reused across base templates. See MMS Features v2.5 §4.

Summary of each entity

Person — stakeholders-person

  • Create, edit, delete user accounts with Login ID/Password via MMS Security Access.
  • Configure account active/deactive time for automated login control.
  • MMS Access tab: assign roles and permissions; Device Access tab: device-level permissions.
  • Lock/unlock accounts; view last-login and managed-device count.

Company — stakeholders-company

  • Create, update, delete company records (name, contacts, status).
  • Company Employees tab: assign persons; Company Devices tab: view/assign devices.
  • MMS Access tab: assign MMS Access Level to employees per merchant.
  • Lock/unlock company accounts.

Merchant — stakeholders-merchant

  • Centralized merchant list with search and filter.
  • Create, update, maintain merchant profiles; Smart Address for street/shipping/billing.
  • Merchant Employees tab: assign persons; Merchant Devices tab: view/assign devices.
  • Activate/deactivate accounts; operational metrics and visual insights.

Charities — stakeholders-charities

  • Centralized charity records reusable across base templates.
  • Attributes: charity name, reference number, donation amounts, advertising images.
  • Override settings per template for company-specific customization.

Processors — stakeholders-processors

  • Centralized payment-processor records reusable across base templates.
  • Processor Info tab: name, system ID, company, logos.
  • Processor Interface tab: processor libraries, BIN tables for card routing, network/software/terminal settings.

Out of scope

Device assignment to companies/merchants — handled in device-manager.

Acceptance criteria

  • [x] CRUD + lock/unlock for persons and companies.
  • [x] Merchant CRUD with activation, search/filter, metrics, and visual insights.
  • [x] Global Charity records with per-template override.
  • [x] Global Processor records with interface configuration and BIN routing.
